Kristi Weldon is an award-winning, sold, and multi-published author across fiction and nonfiction genres. She has been a professional business writer and editor for major corporations as well as a trade magazine since the 1990s. She is the author of "Health and Happiness Elvis Style: Building a Better Planet Through Elvisness," "Happy Elvis," "What Bipolar Feels Like," and "Help! I'm Bipolar."

Since its first publishing, this award-winning teacher has gone through a divorce and multiple hospitalizations and felt a need to expand the content of “Help! I’m Bipolar” significantly. The third edition will be reviewed by William Lockhart, LPC, and include a foreword by Dr. Joanne Oestmann, LMHC, LPC, LPCS. A bipolar advocate who worked on a staph vaccine in a biochemistry lab at a major medical research university, Kristi subscribed to the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry while researching and writing the book. Her current company has an amazing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policy, and she has been working with the DEI Committee to provide better support for employees with mental health challenges.
